    QIAcube Connect Computer Configuration

    Description
    This document describes the procedure required to set a static IP address on a Service
    Engineer computer to enable a connection to the QIAcube Connect via the QIAcube
    Connect Service Software. This procedure is also described in the Service Manual.

    1. To set a static IP address, open “Control Panel”, click “Network and Sharing Center”

    2. Click “Change adapter settings”.

    3. Right click “Local Area Connection” to open the pop-up menu. Click “Properties” to
    open “Local Area Connection properties”

    4. Highlight “InternetProtocol Version 4(TCP/Pv4).

    5. Click “Properties” to open TCP/Pv4 properties.

    6. Choose “Use the following IP address” and enter “192.168.255.205 as the IP


    address. Click on the “Subnet mask” field to automatically populate the address
    255.255.255.0.

    7. Click OK to quit Internet Protocol 4 properties.

    8. After you are done servicing the QIAcube Connect, reset the setting to “Obtain an IP
    address automatically” or you will not be able to connect to standard networks.
