ORDER

Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for temporary exclusion of 180
posts in the grade of Section Officer from the Central Secretariat Service for a period from 11.07.2022
to 07.10.2022.

2. Approval is also conveyed for upgradation of the posts referred to in para 1 above from Level 8
(Rs.47600-151100) to Level 10 (Rs.56100-177500) of pay matrix and also to designate as Assistant
Secretary to enable appointment of officers of Indian Administrative Service of 2020 batch in the
Central Secretariat on conclusion of Phase-Il training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of
Administration, Mussoorie.

3. The upgraded posts will revert to Central Secretariat Service to the original position of Section
Officer in level 8 (Rs.47600-1 51100) of pay matrix on expiry of the prescribed period as indicated in
para 1.

4. This issues with the concurrence of Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure vide their ID
No.32(3)/E.III(B)/201 5 dated 06.05.2022.
