Supported Platforms 6
System Release 6.5 Information
Introduction
System Release 6.5 supports three new platforms XV2-21X, XV2-23T, and XV2-22H. This release also
supports new features and additional bug fixes.
XV2-21X
The XV2-21X is a Dual-Radio Indoor 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 Access Point (AP) designed to deliver next-generation
networks with edge services at a value-based price. Wi-Fi 6 technology delivers higher network speeds
and enables more connected devices at higher packet quality. Wi-Fi 6 brings a deterministic model to the
radio frequency (RF) layer where the AP controls the client connections, including when to sleep, when
to wake, and how to transmit and receive packets. The XV2-21X is fully backward compatible with
existing Wi-Fi technology and enables a massive growth of low-power, low-bitrate IoT devices to add
infrastructure intelligence into any market. The XV2-21X hardware supports a 1 GbE RJ45 interface.
XV2-21X comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty providing return and repair service on the AP from the
date of purchase until the end of the life of the product.
XV2-23T
The XV2-23T is a Dual-Radio Outdoor 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 Access Point (AP) designed to deliver next-generation
networks with edge services at a value-based price.
The XV2-23T is fully backward compatible with
existing Wi-Fi technology and enables a massive growth of low power, low bitrate IoT devices to add
infrastructure intelligence into any market.
XV2-23T comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty providing return and repair service on the AP from the
date of purchase until the end of the life of the product.
XV2-22H
The XV2-22H is a Dual-Radio Indoor 2x2 wall plate Wi-Fi 6 Access Point (AP) designed to deliver next-
generation networks with edge services at a value-based price. Wi-Fi 6 technology delivers higher
network speeds and enables more connected devices at higher packet quality. Wi-Fi 6 brings a
deterministic model to the radio frequency (RF) layer where the AP controls the client connections,
including when to sleep, when to wake, and how to transmit and receive packets. The XV2-22H is fully
backward compatible with existing Wi-Fi technology and enables a massive growth of low power, low
bitrate IoT devices to add infrastructure intelligence into any market.
l BLE/Zigbee
XV2-22H comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty providing return and repair service on the AP from the
date of purchase until the end of the life of the product.
l EAP-FAST Support
EAP-FAST Support
EAP-FAST authentication occurs in two phases. In the first phase, EAP-FAST employs the TLS handshake
to provide an authenticated key exchange and to establish a protected tunnel. Once the tunnel is
established the second phase begins with the peer and server engaging in further conversations to
establish the required authentication and authorization policies.
FLCN-12783 e410, e510, Enabled channels 169 and 173 for Jordan country.
e430, e600,
and e700
FLCN-12710 All Enabled 6 GHz channels support for New Zealand country.
FLCN-12642 All Data Rate Management configurable parameters are updated with
new variable names and the older parameters are deleted from the
UI.
FLCN-12944 All Mesh: Clients could not connect on access WLAN of mesh client when an
operating channel was set to DFS and the country was configured from
the list of ETSI countries.
FLCN-12937 All Autocell would not adhere to the channel list configured on the device.
FLCN-12890 All VLAN assignments for wireless stations were handled across roaming.
FLCN-12845 All VLAN assignments for wireless stations were updated as learned from
the RADIUS server when dynamic authorization was enabled.
FLCN-12784 e410, e510, The radio gets disabled if the channel was configured to 169 or 173 for
e430, e600, Malaysia.
and e700
FLCN-12776 All Radio was not up for channels 149-165 for the Georgia country code.
FLCN-12705 All Slow internet access with VLAN 1 when ePSK was enabled.
FLCN-12537 All Auto-RF picked a random channel with 20 MHz channel bandwidth,
when DCS was triggered.
FLCN-12290 All The CoA update of session timeout was not taking effect if session time
was increased via CoA for WPA2-Enterprises clients but works for Guest
Access clients.
FLCN-12169 XV3-8 AP was unable to upgrade due to the device reporting double the
memory size.
FLCN-12154 All The client falls at a 4-way handshake for some specific keys with special
characters.
FLCN-11931 All Configuring L2TP PPPoE interface MTU value less than 1492 results in
kernel panic.
FLCN-11674 All Improved performance numbers when the L2TP tunnel was enabled.
FLCN-11338 All After issuing the no lldp request-power CLI command, the AP still sends
the Power-via-MDI TLV.
FLCN-10982 All 802.11b clients were connecting to WLAN when AP Radio was configured
to 802.11gn or 11n mode only.
FLCN-12971 XE5-8 XE5-8 allows 6 GHz Radios to be displayed as enabled in Germany and some
other EU country codes even though 6 GHz is not currently supported in
those countries on the XE5-8. The Radios are running as 5 GHz using channel
36.
