Notes:
- When we talk about experiences, we use the present perfect tense.
e.g. I’ve never had oysters before.
- When we talk about a specific situation, we use the simple past tense.
e.g. I’ve been to that restaurant before. It was an interesting experience.
I’ve tried insects before. I didn’t like them at all.
