WATERMILL

A watermill or water mill is a mill that uses hydropower. It is a structure that uses a water wheel
or water turbine to drive a mechanical process such as milling (grinding), rolling, or hammering.
Such processes are needed in the production of many material goods, including flour, lumber,
paper, textiles, and many metal products. These watermills may comprise gristmills, sawmills,
paper mills, textile mills, hammermills, trip hammering mills, rolling mills, wire drawing mills.
Watermill can also make up electricity or can be used to produce electricity.

Process of watermill
The water flows into a cylindrical housing in which is mounted a large water wheel. The force of
the water spins the wheel, and it in turn spins the rotor of a larger generator to produce
electricity. A waterwheel is a simple turbine—a device with buckets, paddles or blades that is
rotated by moving water, converting the kinetic energy of water into mechanical movement.
Hydroelectric power plants use huge and more complex turbines to generate electricity. It
generates between 37 kW and 200 kW of electricity from a 20 m3 (710 cu ft) waterflow with a
head of 1 to 3.5 m (3 to 11 ft). It is designed to produce electricity at the sites of former
watermills.

Advantages of Water Wheel Free Energy

Waterwheels have a simple hydraulic design and construction. They are suitable for small,
highly alternating water quantities. Well constructed water wheels have up to 80% rate of
efficiency. They have low maintenance expenditures, are very easy to repair, and have a long
lifespan.

 It has a high moment of inertia, making it suitable for direct drive of slowly-rotating
machines and machines with alternate resistance.

 Water wheels have a good storage of water and therefore producing energy is possible
with the help of reservoirs.
