Mus, Turkey

Arrival day: 3 December 2022

Departure Day: 10 December 2022

Project Summary
“Gender Equality in Rural Areas” is an Erasmus+ youth exchange that will take place between 3-10
December 2022 in Muş, Turkey. The youth exchange aims to raise awareness of and to promote
gender equality in rural areas among young people in an intercultural environment. Young people
everywhere are being affected by gender issues all over the world, some less some more. These
things cause low self-esteem, lack of confidence, stress and bullying. In addition to all these
challenges, rural areas are more traditional and they have some gender-related challenges against
women and young girls.

The project partnership comprised of 5 different partners from Sweden, Romania, Georgia,
Azerbaijan and Turkey. Partners come from different realities, cultures, economic and religious
backgrounds, and it will be an excellent chance to see and learn from these differences. Young
people from different countries will be able to live together for a week and develop their mutual
