Whereas, the Board has appointed Dr. Kim Feltre to serve as Acting Superintendent of
Schools for the District in addition to her duties as Assistant Superintendent; and
Now Therefore for good and valuable consideration hereby acknowledged the parties
hereby agree as follows:
I. APPOINTMENT, TERM
The Board hereby appoints Dr. Kim Feltre to serve as Acting Superintendent and Dr. Kim
Feltre accepts said appointment for the period beginning January 1, 2023 and continuing until on
or about January 31, 2023, or until this contract is terminated in accordance with the termination
provision contained in Article VI.
II. COMPENSATION
The Board shall pay Dr. Kim Feltre a per diem stipend of $200 for her service. It is
understood that the aforesaid payments are subject to applicable taxes and deductions required
by law. The Acting Superintendent's salary shall be paid in installments of 1124th of the annual salary
in accordance with the schedule of salary payments in effect for other certificated employees.
Throughout the term of this Agreement, Dr. Kim Feltre shall hold a valid New Jersey School
Administrator's Certificate with an appropriate endorsement to act as a Chief School Administrator
in the State of New Jersey. If said certificate is revoked, this contract shall be deemed null and
void.
IV. DUTIES
ln addition to her current duties as Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Kim Feltre agrees to
faithfully perform all the duties of Acting Superintendent of Schools as directed by the Board, all
in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, rules and regulations adopted by the
State Board of Education, the policies and decisions of the Board, and the job description for
Superintendent.
V. INDEMNIFICATION
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, the Board agrees that while Dr. Kim Feltre
is performing services to the district under this Agreement, she is entitled to the protection of the
indemnification provisions of N.J.S.A. 18A:16-6 et seq. and any other applicable statutes in
accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in such statutes.

VI. TERMINATION
This agreement may be terminated by either party for any reason whatsoever by furnishing
the other party with advance written fourteen (14) days in advance of such early termination date.
If, during the term of this Agreement, it is found that a specific clause of this Agreement is
illegal, the remainder of the Agreement shall not be affected by such a ruling and shall remain in
full force and effect.
This Agreement is not meant to modify, repeal or amend any of the terms of Dr. Kim Feltre's
employment Agreement as Assistant Superintendent of Schools dated July 1, 2022. That
Agreement shall remain in full force and effect during the term of this Agreement.
