The Benefits Of Sleep Well

The video speaks about Sleeping is not wasting time or just a way to rest when our
work is done. Sleep is a crucial function in which your body balances and monitors
its vital systems; that affects your breathing and regulation everything from
circulation to growth to immune response.
Well, not so fast. It turns out that sleep is also crucial for the brain, since one fifth of
the body's blood it goes there while you sleep. And the moment you sleep is a
period of intensely active restructuring, essential for memory function. At first sight,
our ability to remember things doesn't seem very impressive.
Herman Ebbinghaus, a 19th century psychologist, showed that we normally forget
40% of what we learn within the first 20 minutes, a phenomenon known as the
forgetting curve.
The process by which information moves from short-term memory to long-term
memory. This consolidation occurs thanks to an important part of the brain known

-My Opinion -
My opinion is that the video is correct because some many time we take sleep as a waste of
time but thats not correct, sleep have many benefits and if you don’t sleep well, you will
have brain or fatigue problems and thats serious problems, so ithink when we are doing
something very hard like a study for a exam or proyect we can take a rest for sleep, that will
help to have a better performance.
