Attention: This patch is only intended for upgrade customers who are upgrading
to Release 12.1.1 from their existing 11.5.9 (base, CU1, CU2) or 11.5.10 (base,
CU1, CU2) system. If you are already at R12 or beyond, please do NOT apply this
patch.

Patch application Instructions:

===============================

When directed to run the American English upgrade patch driver in Chapter 3 of
Oracle Applications Upgrade Guide: Release 11i to Release 12.1.1, perform the
following steps instead.

1. Prerequisite:
If you haven't applied AD 12.1.1 upgrade driver yet, apply patch
9179588:R12.AD.B following the instructions in its patch readme.

2. Apply this patch (16791553:12.1.0) in preinstall mode.

Usage: adpatch preinstall=y

Important Note:
===============
Before applying 16791553:12.1.0 in "preinstall" mode -
If you have applied any other patch previously in preinstall mode and do not
intend to merge it with 12.1.1 upgrade driver u6678700.drv, clean-up the
directory $APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/preinstall after taking the backup of
current directory.

3. Merge the patch drivers in $APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/preinstall directory

with the 12.1.1 upgrade driver $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver/u6678700.drv

Attention:
==========
All the patch driver files located under $APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/preinstall
will get merged with 12.1.1 upgrade driver
$AU_TOP/patch/115/driver/u6678700.drv. Hence, carefully evaluate the content of
the directory - $APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/preinstall and retain only those patch
drivers including u16791553.drv which is intended to be merged with 12.1.1
upgrade driver - u6678700.drv .

Merging patch drivers in $APPL_TOP/admin/$TWO_TASK/preinstall with

$AU_TOP/patch/115/driver/u6678700.drv:
- change directory to $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver
(example: cd $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver)
- admrgpch -d . -preinstall -master u6678700.drv

Note: Default merged driver by name u_merged.drv would be created in the

destination directory specified.

4. Apply the newly merged 12.1.1 upgrade driver (for example -

$AU_TOP/patch/115/driver/u_merged.drv) with adpatch
options=nocopyportion,nogenerateportion
