The Intellian Dual VSAT Mediator is capable of controlling and managing
two VSAT antenna systems simultaneously to deliver an interruption-
free connection all the time. It switches automatically to one of the
antennas that is able to acquire and lock onto the satellite signal.
Redundant antenna systems
A redundant system can be easily configured by using the Intellian
Dual VSAT Mediator to prevent network outages even when one of
the antennas fails due to unfavorable environmental conditions, power
outages, technical issues or any blind spots by ship board obstacles.
Simple and easy installation
The Intellian Dual VSAT Mediator aims to provide a “plug & connect”
experience through its simplified yet sophisticated installation design.
Various modem formats
The Intellian Dual VSAT Mediator supports a number of modem
interfaces enabling satellite network connectivity.
Automatic or manual antenna selection
The Intellian Dual VSAT Mediator has a switch on its front panel to allow
users to manually select one of the antennas in service. The Mediator
will also operate in a fully automatic mode, switching antennas quickly
for an uninterrupted service.
Intellian Network Device Monitoring
Intellian LAN connection enables integrated monitoring and control of
the dual antenna systems from the DVM’s built-in web page. Simplified
IP network setup allows easy and direct access to the connected
VSAT systems.
