Castricum. She still had both of her grandparents. Her mother had 2 sisters and 1 bother and
her father had 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She mentioned that tjernobyl had happened when she was a teenager, it impressed her
because it was global, and it affected everyone.
She thinks that lifestyle has become healthier because we have become more aware of what
we eat.
She ate very healthy, mostly plain vegetables and plain potato's with some meat. She almost
never ate produced meals like pizza. She ate her meals on usual times, just breakfast, lunch
and dinner. They got the ingredients for the meals from the supermarket.
She told us that she used to do jazzbalet, thats like aerobics but more with music. Sport on her
school was mendatory and they introduced her to a lot of sports, because they hoped that you
then felt more like sporting after school.
They never talked about mental health, because then you were seen as crazy. But she thinks
that that would be a really important topic to discuss, especially for teenagers, because you
can’t hold on to all your anger and your doubts, your need to be able to talk about that. And if
you don’t talk about your mental issues that they would eventually become physical issues.
