The market behavior of the successful brands

Today, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is the second-largest electronic device manufacturer in the world. It
belongs to a South Korean multinational. In addition, Samsung was named the top consumer electronics
brand in the world and is renowned for its continual improvements in digital technology. Based on a 2021
study by Gartner, Apple is in second place with a 16.7% market share, while Samsung has maintained the
top rank globally with a 19% market share in smartphone sales. Innovative research and development
have always been the cornerstone of Samsung. Due to investment in these divisions, the brand has one of
the most diverse product catalogs among its rivals. (Parker, 2022b). Credibility supports Samsung's status
as a leader in innovation. Especially in China and India, Samsung continues to dominate the Asian
markets. Samsung placed an emphasis on both product development and design. When it comes to the
chipset, Samsung has a lot of options. They are the biggest chip maker because of their technological
development. They therefore have a cost advantage. As a result of their ability to foresee market
demands, Samsung develops devices with the necessary features.
Apple Inc. is a well-known brand for innovation and technological advancement in the computer and
consumer electronics industries. Apple is regarded as one of the best marketers of all time because they
recognize that marketing is one of the most important components of a business enterprise and
significantly affects how successful it is with consumers (Vyshnavi, 2022). Apple's products adhere to the
simple is better ethos; they don't overburden their target market with options, criteria, or even choices.
Apple has put a lot of effort into identifying its target market, and they are aware of their preferences.
Apple’s customer service is one of the greatest one in the market. For instance, when it comes to
installation, one of the things that Apple enthusiasts really value about Apple computers is that they are
incredibly simple to set up. One of Apple's strongest marketing strategies is to evoke curiosity around the
introduction of new products. It is a clever strategy because it converts the target market into loyalists
because this will make them interested (Vyshnavi, 2022). A strategy that has helped the company take the
lead in the industry is the expansion of the distribution network to effectively attract more customers and
provide high-quality sales as well as post-sales assistance. The company's marketing strategy strives to
create a global brand by growing its customer, luring new customers, and forging strong bonds with
current customers by focusing on developing markets and introducing new items (Competitive Strategy of
Apple Company | Business Paper Example, 2022).
Reasons Behind Huawei underperformance

 Outside of China, sales of Huawei smartphones have dropped. This happened due to a U.S.
export prohibition that forbids new Huawei phones from running the Google Play store or well-
known Android apps. This effects the global foot print of this brand. Despite the timely launch of
HMS (Huawei Mobile Service) by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, it will be challenging
to make up for the significant sales decline brought on by the GMS's deactivation.
 In comparison to its competitors like Apple or Samsung, Huawei has very little much capital to
work with. In relation to this, the Huawei company itself is severely underfunded. Huawei is
unable to raise money on the capital market because it is not a publicly traded corporation and it
poses a barrier to its entry into the global market (Zhixin, 2021).
 In recent years, Huawei has also faced a lot of unfavorable coverage regarding "workers
committing suicide due to extreme pressure," which has sparked debate and criticism of Huawei's
"Wolf culture" among the general public. Huawei chose to remain silent in the face of the public
and media's critical voices, which negatively impacted the company's reputation (Zhixin, 2021).
