According to a given scenario, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a structured
process that enables the production of high-quality, cost-effective software in the shortest
possible production time. The SDLC's goal is to create great software that meets and exceeds all
customer expectations and requirements. The SDLC defines and outlines a detailed plan
with stages or phases. Each stage consists of its own process and deliverables. SDLC compliance
increases development velocity and minimizes project risks and costs associated with
alternative production methods.
1) provide a standardized framework for defining activities and deliverables
2) assist in project planning, estimating and scheduling
3) facilitate project tracking and management
4) all stakeholders
5) Increases development velocity
6) Improves customer relationships
7) Reduces project risk
8) Reduces project management and total production costs reduced.
