    Dear Hon. Rodell Ramos:

    The Season of Lent is a celebration by the Roman Catholic Church about the Paschal Ministry of Jesus. His passion, death and
    resurrection. Part of this celebration is the Via Crucis which is a devotion of the Catholic faithful to commemorates the journey of
    Jesus towards his death and resurrection. It is done every Friday beginning on the first Friday after Ash Wednesday up to Good
    Friday.

    In line with this, we are asking for the permission of the Local Government Unit of Batan in conducting the Via Crucis or the
    Station of the Cross every Friday starting on March 04, 2022 until Good Friday. This devotion will take place on certain areas in
    Poblacion Batan Aklan from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm. Rest assured that the Health Safety Protocols will be strictly implemented during
    this event.
