Urgent Attention Candidates and Colleges of MBBS/BDS

In reference to State Round-1 of UG Counselling 2022, schedule for


reporting is over on 04/11/2022. It is for information that joined candidates of
MBBS/BDS courses can resign the seat of Round-1 up to 05.00 pm of
20/11/2022, after which they will be considered as part of Round-2 and same
rules will apply on them as applicable for Round- 2 of counselling.
Candidates are advised to ensure that they receive system generated
acknowledgement from the college, failing which the cancellation will be treated
as ‘Null & Void’. In such a case, candidate will be deemed to have occupied the
seat still, and rules of Round-2 will apply. Any letter other than system generated
acknowledgement will not be considered eligible.
In case candidate has not filled Status Retention and is not upgraded,
he/she cannot resign the seat allotted in Round-1 and will have to retain the seat.
In such a case rules of Round-2 will apply since the candidate has exercised
choices and participated in Round-2. There is no option of resignation if
candidate is not upgraded in Round-2.
Round-1 joined candidates who neither participate in Round-2 nor resign
the seat of Round-1 will be considered as of part of Round-2 after the stipulated
time. Hence, candidates who desire to resign their seat of Round-1 should do so
before the stipulated time i.e. 05.00 pm of 20/11/2022.
This notice is only for candidates joined in MBBS/BDS courses in State
Couselling.
