Second round of seat allotment (on-line)

NEET UG (MEDICAL/DENTAL) ADMISSION / COUNSELLING 2019 (MBBS, BDS)

In continuation of earlier notification dated 15.06.2019, it is for the information to all

NEET UG 2019 qualified candidates seeking admission to MBBS / BDS Course that the
2nd Round of Allotment Procedure for State Medical / Dental (U.G) seats will be held
on-line as scheduled below:

SCHEDULE FOR ALLOTMENT PROCESS

Application form 14.07.2019

Start date for filling of on-line application form and deposition of
required counseling fee
It is a mandatory step for subsequent process of allotments.
A candidate who does not fill application form will not be
eligible for allotment.
Candidates who did not complete their application form in Round 1 can
complete their in-complete application form and fill the choices.
Candidates who completed their application form in Round 1 need not
fill the application form again but can edit their pre-filled choices.

Last date for depositing the counseling fee at the website 18.07.2019 (4.00 pm)

Last date for submitting the on-line application form at the website 18.07.2019 (5.00 pm)

Document verification before the Board for PwD, Defence/PM, STA and 19.07.2019 (10.00
NRI candidates as per the notification made available at the website am)

Publishing of provisional merit list (State, PwD, Defence/PM, MBC, SC, 20.07.2019
ST, STA, NRI)

Choice filling 21.07.2019

Start date for choice filling and depositing the registration fee at the

Registration fee (applicable for MBBS seats only, not applicable for
BDS seats)
For Govt. medical colleges - INR 10000 (half for SC/ST/OBC/MBC

Note: Candidates who applied but not allotted a seat in Round 1 or

candidates who did not join in Round 1 can edit their pre-filled choices
otherwise their pre-filled choices will considered as such for allotment in
Round 2.

documents, Demand draft of the prescribed fee, bond and 2 copies of (9.00 am to 4.00 pm)
application form along with all relevant documents (self attested)

Reporting at the allotted college to complete remaining formalities 07-08-2019 by 5.00

including bank guarantee and other financial procedures (refer pm
respective college website for details) and appearance before the
medical board of the allotted college

Application form for Mop-Up Round Between 04.08.2019

(Fresh application form will be required for Candidates who exit in and 06.08.2019
Round 1 and Candidates who exit with forfeiture in Round 2)
*Candidates who filled choices but were not allotted a seat in Round 1 as well as
Round 2 need not fill the application form again for Mop-up Round

Option to Upgrade / Participate in Round 2

All candidates who have joined their seat in Round 1 must opt as ‘YES or NO’ under
Upgrade in Round 2 / Participate in Round 2 option available at the portal during Choice
filling.

Candidates who have joined the allotted college in Round 1 and wish to retain the same
college / seat need not fill choice(s) in Round 2 and must opt as ‘NO’ under Upgrade /
Participate in Round 2 option available at the portal; their existing allotted seat will be
retained as such.

Candidates who joined the allotted college in Round 1 and now do not fill option as Yes /
No will not be considered for participation in Round 2 and their existing allotted seat will
be retained as such.

Candidates can resign from their Round 1 allotted seat till 5.00 pm of 24.07.2019,
thereafter no resignation will be accepted.

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 (fresh allotment / up gradation) who do not join
their Round 2 allotted seat or resign in due course of time will have to forfeit their
registration fee.
Following candidates will be considered for second round of counseling:
1. Fresh participants of Round 2
2. Candidates who have not joined the college allotted in Round 1
3. Candidates allotted a college in Round 1 but not reported at the allotted college
4. Candidates who resign after joining of the college allotted in Round 1
5. Candidates not allotted a college in Round 1 (CNA)

All the candidates are further informed that as per Hon”ble supreme Court directions in
Writ Petition No. 267/2017 DAR-Us-SLAM Education Trust & Ors Vs MCI & Ors, candidate
who has joined through admission in All India Quota seats (15%) / All Deemed
University after Round 2 of NEET UG AIQ seats will not be allowed to participate in
Round 2 of State Counseling.

Other than Rajasthan State candidates can also fill application form to participate in
Rajasthan State NEET UG MBBS/BDS Counseling 2019. Such candidates will also have
option to fill ALL the choices that are likely to be available later after exhausting the
state candidates.

Mop-up round (off-line)

Mop-up round (off-line) will be conducted to fill-up seats remaining vacant after
completion of Round 2 of counseling. For this purpose, fresh application form shall be
opened on all India basis.

After mop-up round, once the State NEET merit list is exhausted, the admissions on
residual vacant seats will be done from the available list of all India NEET UG 2019
qualified candidates, on filling application form with NEET UG Counseling Board 2019.

As per MCI notification, a candidate who joins any seat will not be allowed to participate
in mop-up round.
