10-45 Pneumatic exhaust brake

Check - Exhaust brake
1. Connect a manometer to the compressed air
connection on the control cylinder.

2. Activate the exhaust brake using SDP3. During

activation the proportional valve should supply
maximum air pressure.

3. Check that the air pressure is between 5.5 and

7.2 bar.

4. Check that the control cylinder carries out the

full stroke between the open and closed
position.

5. Check that the damper does not seize or get

stuck.
