Our warm greetings and good wishes.
Here we are at the end of a yet another year which has seen unprecedented challenges for students,
staff & parents.
We would like to thank you for your support, patience and acceptance of all the changes that have
been implemented to ensure the young people have continued to learn & develop over the year.
We are happy about our Sentians and congratulate them for completing another year successfully.
We have been able to re-introduce many of the aspects of school life such as extra-curricular
activities and practical work.
We have seen during this year some truly amazing work from students and staff reflecting our core
values of Respect, Resilience and Responsibility. We have also seen a willingness and sheer
determination from everyone to do their absolute best. It has been a privilege to see our students
work through this year and overcome and tackle head on the challenges they have been faced with.
We wish you all a safe & happy Pongal.

Please note the schedule for the coming academic year 2022-23 as detailed below.
1. School schedule: The academic year 2021-22 ends on 26th February 2022. Annual reports will
be issued on 5th March 2022 for classes I to IX & XI and graduation ceremony for classes PPI &
PPII will be held on 26th February 2022.The new session 2022-23 will begin on 9th March 2022 for
classes IV to X & XII. For classes PPI to III new session will begin on 14th March 2022. The last
working day for all classes is 22nd April 2022. The summer vacation will be from 23rd April 2022 to
4th June 2022 for classes IV to XII and from 23rd April 2022 to 7th June 2022 for classes PPI to III.
The school will reopen after summer vacations on 6th June 2022 for classes from IV to XII and
8thJune 2022 for PPI to III classes. All students have regular full day school from 8.10 am to
3.15pm on all working days.

2. School books & uniform: Books, school uniform, sportswear & taekwondo uniform counters are
available in the school from 18/2/22 to 28/2/22 between 10 am to 2 pm. Students of classes I to X
shall have Taekwondo.

3. Annual calendar: The complete annual calendar for 2022-23 giving the details of the
activities, events & celebrations, holidays, parent teacher meeting schedule, weekly work sheet
& terminal exam schedule etc. will be uploaded in school website in second week of March 2022.

4. School transport:
• Students who are availing school transport during 2021-22 and do not wish to avail this facility
during 2022-23 may give consent for withdrawal of this facility during 2022-23 through mail to
communications@sentia.in OR submit a written request in the school office on or before
15/2/2022.
• Parents who wish to change the transport route during 2022-23 may communicate this to the
school by filling up the form for change in transport route available in school office or send
email to communications@sentia.in on or before 15/2/22. Communications received later will
not be considered.

 • The bus fare has to be paid in a single installment on or before 10/6/2022.
• Students availing one way transport also will have to pay the full two way fare for the complete
year.
• Pick up point and drop point should not be different.
• Children availing school transport are not allowed to leave during school hours as it would
disrupt transportation schedule.
• A/c or Non A/c transport facility may be provided on any route.
• Bus routes and stages cannot be changed during the year once confirmed for 2022-23.
• Students need to pay transport fare for the entire year even though they may utilize this facility
for any period. Hence consider availing this facility carefully before you opt for it because the
school needs to plan the transport requirement for the entire year.
• The bus fare ranges from Rs.22,000 to Rs.30,000 per annum based on distance.
0 to 5km –Rs.22,000/- ; 5.1 to 10 km – Rs.27,000/ -; 10.1 km and above Rs. 30,000/-
5. Withdrawal of admission: Application for withdrawal of admission during 2022-23 and issue of
transfer certificate must be submitted on or before 15th February 2022. First term fee will be charged if
application for transfer certificate is received after 15th February 2022.

Note:
Ø All payments can be made through challan / pay u money.
Cheque / DD in favour of VIDYA KSHETRA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY.
Ø Dishonoured Cheque will attract a penalty of Rs. 300/-.
Ø The tuition fee has to be paid as per the schedule given. Thereafter late fee charges Rs.500/- for
first ten days of delay and Rs. 1000/- for next ten days of delay will be charged.
Ø Refund of any fee paid to the school is not possible under any circumstances.
Ø The tuition fee and bus fare need to be paid for the complete year even if the child withdraws at
any time during the academic year.
