Payment period: 12 - 15 December 2022: Cash payment and inter-account transfer at any campus. Payment time for
cash payments and inter-account transfer at Campuses: 08:00 am– 13:00pm & 14:00-16:00 pm.

Payment period: 12 December 2022 to 05 January 2023: Direct Bank deposit and Electronic Funds Transfer by 16:00pm.

NB: No ATM or other method of payment will be accepted

Summer Term is meant for students that have attained admission to examinations in the Second Semester Examinations
but failed to pass the Second Semester Regular & Special Examinations.

1. Who qualifies for 2022 Summer Term?

1.1 Students who have failed modules during the 2022 second semester regular and special examinations will have an
opportunity to attend classes and write Summer Term examinations during the 2022 Summer Term period.

1.2 Only students who have obtained admission to the examination and failed a module during the 2022 second
semester regular and special examinations will qualify to attend the 2022 Summer Term.

1 Who does not qualify for 2022 Summer Term?

1.1 Student pursuing Medicine, Pharmacy and Chartered Accountancy

1.2 Students that are under investigation for any irregularities or misconduct pertaining to a particular module.

1.3 Students found guilty on any irregularities or misconduct in a particular module.

2 Continuous Assessment and Final Marks:

2.1 Students will retain their Continuous Assessment (CA) Marks obtained during the 2022 second semester.

2.2 If a student opts for Summer Term, a student’s maximum final mark for the particular module shall be 50%.

3 As per University regulations, in order to be admitted to examinations during Summer Term, students are required to
attend at least 80% of the lectures.

Application Procedures

1. To apply for the Summer Term, logon to your Portal. Click on the module on your Progress Report.

2. You will receive an email acknowledgment on the status of your application and action required to complete the
application.

3. Once application is approved (pending payment by minimum of 10 students) make the necessary cash payments
on any campus or direct Bank Deposit, Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). Refer to payment period and method above.

4. All fees must be paid on or before 05 January 2023 at 16:00 pm.

5. Proof of payments to be uploaded via Student Portal on or before 05 January at 16:00

6. Submission of fraudulent proof of payments / invalid payment or inter-account transfer will result in disciplinary action
taken against you.

7. No late payments will be accepted.

8. No ATM or other method of payments will be accepted.

9. The Summer Term class timetable will be available on the Portal from 7th January 2023 as of 14:00pm. All classes will
be offered face-to-face at the relevant campus.

10. Attached please find modules that would be offered during summer term and fees payable.
