The climate of Australia and Ecuador

The climate in several countries and continents is very varied, like the seasons,

the temperature, the weather, but we must take into account two countries Australia,

which is a continent /country and Ecuador, which is a country in South America, we are

going to compare all meteorological aspects from Ecuador and Australia.

Australia is known for being a country with warm weather, but that also fall snows.

Australia is a vast country and has different weather it has up to 5 different climatic

zones. Moreover, the temperatures can vary a lot from North to South and from the coast

to the interior. In some parts of Australia can even get cold in summer. In Australia, the

seasons are Spring from September to December, Summer from December to March,

Fall from March to June and Winter from June to September. Another detail that we need

to know is that in the North of Australia there are not these four seasons, but the tropical

areas of Australia have only two seasons: Wet season: from November to March and the

dry season: from April to October. While the weather in Ecuador does not vary like

Australia. The reason is due to three main details: the marine currents of the Pacific

Ocean, the altitude of the Andes ranging from 1000 to more than 5500 meters above sea

level and the meteorological systems of the Amazon region. Because of its location in the

center of the planet, at latitude zero, there are only two predictable weather stations in

Ecuador: wet and dry, called winter and summer. Both countries have different weathers.

However, they are similar in two seasons winter and summer.

 In this work, I thought that since Australia was a country with oceans around it, it

was normally warm. The most obvious change in weather is the location, the varied

coastal areas of Australia and the equatorial line of Ecuador. Definitely, if someone from

Australia visits Ecuador, will be surprised by the different weathers it have in a single day.
