MY MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN LIFE

“Memories are timeless treasures of the heart” it is a quote that lives rent free
in my mind. And so, today I am going to talk about the most memorable day
in my life. The most memorable day in my life is probably when I went to
Kerala for a trip with my family i.e., my parents and my younger brother.
The reason why it was so memorable because it literally felt like an escape
from the city life to place which just felt like heaven, “God’s own country”
they rightly say.
When I been to Kerala, I was just a 10-year-old, so I saw everything through
child’s perspective. The colours of the blooming flowers, the fresh air and
trees, tea bushes lots and lots of tea bushes, a thing that I appreciate this
beautiful state for, just felt so surreal. I was so delighted to see how every
person living there was just so friendly and welcoming. Everyone had that
beautiful smile on their faces which literally made my day. I remember one
incident when I was walking down a street with my mom and an old lady
selling pots caught our eyes. We went there to see her creations when
suddenly she started speaking fluent English which kind of shocked us
because we do not often see street sellers speaking in that language. But
again, that is something I praise this beautiful state for, that literally every
person there is educated.
Speaking of education, I also got learn about how tea is prepared in Factories,
which felt so interesting and complicated at the same time to my 10-year-old
mind
I had a time of my life there, staying in a tree house, trekking, travelling on a
houseboat, touching the sky, like literally the clouds were entering our tree
house and of course spending time with my family. The pleasant weather
there was just like an icing on the cake. It just felt that I got to see a side of
my country that I never knew it had.
I just feel so grateful to witness the beauty of the beauteous state that Kerala
is, and the memories of this trip shall remain in my mind forever.
