1. What is the essence of HRM in the organization?
HRM is a management approach stressing the characteristics of workers,
emphasizing the importance of such factors as morale, attitudes, values, and
humane treatment of workers. As Latham and Budworth, 2007, said, these
strategies that place a strong emphasis on human interactions include teamwork,
leadership, positive work attitudes, and managers’ social skills. This highlighted
that satisfying the demands of employment fulfills more that are beyond
economic considerations.
2. Is it necessary to have HRM in an organization? Why or why not?
Having an HRM in is critical to an organization because this department is
responsible for identifying the talents required to complete the work that will
assist in achieving organizational goals. Understanding what tasks are performed,
how they are completed, and are connected, and what tools and equipment will be
required is essential to the organization’s structure.
3. In your own perspective, what is the difference of personnel management to human
resource management?
In order to accomplish organizational goals, personnel management is a
branch of management that deals with the hiring, staffing, training, renumeration,
and relations between the workers and the company. On the other hand, the
specialized and organized field of management known as human resource
management is focused on finding, keeping, developing, utilizing, and
coordinating people so that they would give their all to the company. It alludes to
a methodical planning process for addressing the demands placed on human
resources, including selection, training, remuneration, and performance appraisal.
4. Why do you think there is fall of the Command-and-Control Manager?
The word stress was first used to describe a machine which stopped
working because of too much pressure. It was only later on that stress is use to
describe the physical manifestation of burn out to people. They realized that
putting pressure more than one can handle can also lead to an individual not
performing well on their assigned task. This scenario is a great example that a
commanding and controlling human resources will only result to mismanaging
workforce that can or will eventually lead to a fall of an organization.

5. How will you improve your management to your human resources?


What an organization can do to improve managing human resources is to
organize and describe the tasks involved in a job and analyzing the appropriate
monetary value for that position. In addition, finding the most suitable person to
each job can also increase people’s wellbeing. Providing programs regarding
details of the positions. Lastly, evaluation whether workforce is doing a job.
