Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, known in
music as Lana del Rey, was born on June
21, 1985, in New York. Lana del Rey is a
singer, songwriter, known for her musical
style that takes references from pop
culture in the United States during the 50s
and 60s. Her music is inspired by tragic
love scenarios and glamour, with special
references to the elements that make up
the American identity. We admire Lana
del Rey because she doesn't make up
stories, she feels them. We like the fact
that each song is as deep as the previous
one, and they don't get boring. And we
admire her because she is the clear
example that you can always bounce back
after a big fall.
