THIESS CONTRACTORS INDONESIA, TB Simatupang kav 18 Jakarta —indonesia, In general, based on SNI03-1726-2012, the structural design concept adopted i Life Safety Concept. Based on this concept, when a major earthquake occurs in accordance with the earthquake zone, the damage to the structure plan may occur as a form of seismic energy dissipation structure absorbed. However, the building must not collapse and the maximum is in the Life Safety performance level In this concept, when major earthquakes occur according to plan, the earthquake damage to the strveture may occur. But the building should not collapse to allow evacuation to proceed. Design of structures will use SRPMM (Intermediate Moment resisting frame system) with system that uses portal as structural elements to withstand earthquakes. With the development of these designs, building plans become more efficient but stil consider the evel of adequate safety.
