Reporting: All students compulsorily need to report campus on 1st June 2011. Outstation students may report one day early. Joining schedule is as follows: 1st June Reporting and hostel rooms allocation (rest day) 2nd June Orientation (Auditorium), Photo session and Measurements. 3rd and 4th June Residential Outbound learning (students depart by 6.30 a.m. and stay out of campus and return to the campus on 4th evening)

Joining Late: Students having their exams (University / Professional) are eligible for exemption for the examination period and one-day prior and after the exams. Students need to make an application to the Asst. Registrar (asst_registrar@scmhrd.edu) and attach the examination schedule, signed and stamped by the college / university / institute and send it. The application should reach us before 25 th May 2010. Candidates not joining the institute on 1st-June-11 without exemption will loose their candidature. (Note: All exemption queries shall be replied by email by Academic section) Outbound Learning: All students of SCMHRD are taken for outbound learning for two day to be acquainted with fellow colleagues. This session consists of group games and group tasks and students enjoy it a lot. (Parents cannot accompany the students for the Outward-bound Activity) Dress Code for outbound learning 1. Sports shoes or Running Shoes 2. Thick cotton socks 3. Trousers / Track pants ( Loose fitting, cotton and full) 4. Shirts/ T Shirts loose fitting ( cotton ) 5. Ladies may wear Panjabi Dress (No Sari, Skirts or Short Tops) 6. Sun Cap (must for all).

Equipment for all activities, camping and safety shall be provided by Out-Fit. Participants are expected to be responsible for the safety of their belongings. Dress code for Orientation - FORMAL Girls Saree Boys Formal shirts and trousers with tie (Jeans and sleeveless are not allowed in academic blocks) Dress Code: Regular Days Girls: 3 piece salwar suits. Boys: formal shirts & trousers, leather shoes. Girls please bring 3-4 sets of sarees & boys pls bring 4-5 ties. All students having an educational gap of more than 1 year should submit a Gap Certificate on a Rs. 100 stamp paper duly notarized by a Notary. Passport: All students are required to obtain a valid passport by 1st October 2011. In case you do not possess one, you are required to apply for it before joining.
