Teaching Methods:
1. At home: Students are asked to read teaching materials in
advance before going to class in order to understand the main
contents as well as the main objectives of the documents.

2. At school:
− The first hour: Chapter Presentations + Discussions
(Topic Presentations + Discussions will contribute to
Class Participation score. Each student is required to
participate in Topic Presentations at least 3 times, each
time is about 10-15 minutes)
− The last hour: Mini Test (the average score of all Mini
Test will be the score of the Mid-term 1).
Those who do not take the Mini Test, the Mini Test will be counted
as 0 point. Those who are allowed to retake the Mini Test, the
maximum Mini Test score will be 9 points (minus 1 point for not
taking the test on time).
Those who have a total score, including 7 points + bonus points for
having correct answers + individual presentation – points due to
unexcused absence (no more than 1 time), >=15 will be considered
for addition to score of Mid-term 2 (just in case the score of Mid-
term 2 is lower than 9, and in this case the maximum score of Mid-
term 2 will be 9 points).
