[REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7799]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DISTRICT HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF


TALISAY, PROVINCE OF CEBU, TO BE KNOWN AS THE TALISAY DISTRICT
HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THERFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress


assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established a district hospital in the Municipality of Talisay,


Province of Cebu, to be known as the Talisay District Hospital.

SEC 2. The Department of Health, in consultation and coordination with local government
officials concerned, shall promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for the effective
implementation of this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary for the establishment of the hospital shall be included in the
General Appropriations Act of the year following the enactment of this Act into law. Thereafter,
funds necessary for its maintenance and operation shall be provided in accordance with the
provision of the Local Government Code.

SEC 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
