Introduction:
Hello everybody, my name is Andrei and today me and my coleagues will be talking
about something fascinating and pretty curious.
Some of you may be wondering...what is time? Let me tell you that time is the
indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in an irreversible
succession from the past, through the present, into the future.

But we re not going to cover that in this presentation.Today we re talking about

time travelling.

Time Travel is a concept vastly used in philosophy and fiction. It's the concept of
moving an object, or even a person between ceartain points in time, be it future or
past. Basically, it refers to the ability of visiting past events or actions, even
interact with them.

The Concept of Relativity and Time Travel

More than 100 years ago, a famous scientist named Albert Einstein came up with an
idea about how time works. He called it relativity. This theory says that time and
space are linked together. Einstein also said our universe has a speed limit:
nothing can travel faster than the speed of light (186,000 miles per second).

Time Travel to The Past in Physics

There are two theoretical methods to travel in the past, according to the Physics
we know:
-Traveling faster than the speed of light or using cosmic strings and black holes.

Time Travel to The Future in Physics

It is believed that a person could travel in the future in a way through the use of
two concepts : Time Dilation and Time Perception.

The person that introduced the concept of "Time Travel" in the popular culture was
Herbert George Wells , with his novel "The Time Machine". He is often called the
"father of science fiction".

Here is a passage from the novel, with a deep meaning if you contemplate on it.

To sum things up, yes, time travel is indeed a real thing. But it's not quite what
you've probably seen in the movies. Under certain conditions, it is possible to
experience time passing at a different rate than 1 second per second. And there are
important reasons why we need to understand this real-world form of time travel.
