We are increasingly finding ourselves more involved
and making more acquaintances. For this we are thank-
ful, and yet we pray for wisdom to know what and where
we should invest our time and energy at this stage. In No-
vember I began preparing and delivering messages for the
weekly mid-week family service for the families or caregivers
of the children that attend the Malecón project. We have been
learning about the 10 commandments; learning about the natu-
ral state of man, the importance of the law of God, what each of
the commandments really mean, and how with God’s help, our
good works can become pleasing in God’s sight.
Since our move in May we have regularly been worship-
ing with a small (around 15 members) body of Reformed
Baptist believers, a small but faithful Church, growing in
sound theology as well as in love for God and each other.

MISSION HOUSE
FALL 2022 FUNDRAISING REPORT
We are thankful to the Lord for faithful giving through many
churches, individuals, and fundraisers such as the on-line
auction (which raised $5400 CAD) and the October “Brims and
Bonnets” initiative. As a result, we are now at $115,000 CAD!
There are, however, challenges that we face. In the spring 2022
newsletter we mentioned that our goal of $140,000 CAD was an
estimate based on limited available information. Over time the
price point on many building materials has moved upward. We
in turn, simplified the design. This reduced
