2. Objectives of the current study

The present study is aimed to investigate the following objectives: 1. Collection of substrate for
fungal strain isolation.

Fruit and vegetable substrate will be collected from the vegetable market of

Kalaburagi, for fungal strain isolation.

2. Isolation and Screening of fungal strain. • Isolation of fungal strain from the fruit/vegetable
waste sample of local market

of Gulbarga. • Screening of fungal strain capable of growing in broad range of pH Selection

3. Identification of newly isolated fungus.

4. Production of extracellular enzymes Amylase, Cellulase and Xylanase by newly isolated


fungus under solid state fermentation.
