TASK 1
James, the purchasing manager at OEC Computers, wants to order some items from vendor V10000. He
creates the purchase order with the following items:

A00002 with a quantity of 100
A00003 with a quantity of 25
James uses the standard warehouse 01 for all items.

TASK 2
A few days later James receives the ordered items from vendor V10000. To have the information available in
the system right away, he immediately creates the Goods Receipt PO.

Create the Goods Receipt PO by copying it from the purchase order.

After he adds the Goods Receipt PO in the system, James starts checking the received items in the
warehouse. He finds out that he has not received all of the ordered items. He calls the vendor and he tells
him that he has received the wrong delivery slip - this was a mistake - and he will send him the correct one.
After a while, James receives the correct delivery slip and he has to change the Goods Receipt PO in the
system.

How can he make changes to the Goods Receipt PO and reopen the purchase order in one single

CASE STUDY: WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT PUBLIC

Once original Goods Receipt PO has been cancelled and the purchase order is re-opened, he adds the
correct quantities for the delivered items from vendor V10000 as follows:
A00001 with a quantity of 30
A00002 with a quantity of 70
A00003 with a quantity of 20

TASK 3
The warehouse employees put all the delivered items into the warehouse. Unfortunately, a carton with item
A00002 falls.

James does not know if this item is still okay or if it is broken. He decides that this item needs to be
inspected. To do this, he transfers this item from the official warehouse to the bin location warehouse with
the following information:
Item A00002 with a quantity of 1
From Warehouse 01
To Warehouse 05
To Bin Location 05-A1-S1-L2

Create the inventory transfer.

TASK 4

into the official warehouse.

Create another inventory transfer to relocate the item from the bin location warehouse to the main
warehouse 01.

TASK 5
The customer C40000 calls Bill and wants to order the following item:
I00010 with a quantity of 4
In this case, the items will be delivered directly from the vendor to the customer as a drop shipment.

Create a sales order for this customer that uses the drop shipment warehouse. Perform all the sales
and purchasing steps needed to manage the drop ship process.
