(अनुपात एवं समानुपात)
Ratio-the relation between two numbers
which shows how much bigger one quantity is
than another
अनुपात दो संख्‍याओं के बीच संबंध जो बताता है कक एक
संख्‍या दू सरी से ककतनी बड़ी है
Proportion- When numeric value of two
ratio are equals then we say these are in
proportion. जब दो अनुपातों का अंकीय मान बराबर
होता है तो हम कहते हैं कक ये समानुपात में हैं
In Ratio & Proportion

यकद तीन संख्याएँ a : b : c के अनुपात में हैं और उनका
योग x है तो संख्याएँ हैं
ax/(a+b+c) , bx/(a+b+c) & cx/(a+b+c)
If a : b = n₁ : d₁ & b : c = n₂ : d₂
then a : b : c = n₁ × n₂ : n₂ × d₁ : d₁ × d₂

If the ratio between two numbers is a :
b & x is added to both of them then the ratio
becomes c : d. Then the two numbers are
given by: यकद दो संख्याओं के बीच का अनुपात a : b
और x दोनों में जोड़ कदया जाए तो अनुपात c : d हो जाता
है। तब दो संख्याएँ द्वारा दी जाती हैं

Mean Proportion of ab is given by = √ab

If two numbers are in the ratio a : b

and there sum is x, then these numbers will
