BREATHWORK BASICS

What is Diaphragmatic Breathwork?

Our lives are filled with distraction and stimulation, but what if there was a
way that you could just stop and give yourself space to breathe, calm your
mind, release emotions, and relax your body. Breathe. That’s all you have
to do. If I had to limit my advice to just one tip, it would simply be to learn
how to breathe correctly.

We often take breathing for granted and underestimate the power we have
through breathing. Breathwork is one of the most powerful tools for a
healthy body and mind. 70% of toxins are released through our breath. The
lungs are the biggest waste removal engine of the body. Only 30% is
released through the skin and bowels. By breathing deeply, we take in
more electricity that powers and cleanses the body, and by exhaling deeply
we eliminate more waste and make space for new breaths to come in. Both
actions have an overall detoxifying and electrifying effect on the body and
mind.

Parasympathetic Breathwork is the cure to “overthinking.” It helps turn

worry into comfort and stress into peace. Give yourself space to breathe.
Relax, refresh, receive. The more you give, the deeper you exhale, the more
space you make to receive. You are the creator; breathe and create your
reality.

You have two main parts to your nervous system; they are the sympathetic
and the parasympathetic nervous systems.

7
The sympathetic is fight or flight, and the parasympathetic is rest and
digest. Fast breathing is fight or flight, slow breathing is rest and digest.
“Stress” is just being in fight or flight too much. Whenever you’re stressed,
anxious, angry, tired, or overthinking, just slow and quiet down your
breathing and watch as those feelings slow and quiet down too. All bodily
growth, cellular regeneration, detox, repair, and rest occur in the
parasympathetic nervous system; most people only tap into it
unconsciously in their sleep. By tapping into it with breathwork, you can
change the game by keeping your intentions and proper postures as your
body resets. Think of the parasympathetic ns as the female, it receives
energy. The sympathetic ns is the male, it gives energy. You want a balance
between both. If you are in fight or flight too much, you will deplete
yourself. If you spend more time recharging, you will always have energy
when you need it.

What is Diaphragmatic Breathwork and Why is it So Important?

Diaphragmatic Breathwork refers to breathing exercises that utilize the

diaphragm’s full range of motion. Why is diaphragmatic breathwork the #1
best practice for physical, emotional, and spiritual health? Literally
speaking, the breath is the spirit. The word “spirit” comes from the Latin
word “spira,” which literally means “breath.” Spirituality literally is
breathwork. The breath is the consciousness, the driver. The body is the
vehicle. Physically speaking, 70% of all detox is through breathing.
Emotionally speaking, diaphragmatic breathwork allows the body to get rid
of stored emotions and thoughts. All emotions are also present in physical
form inside the body; physical detox is emotional detox. So, diaphragmatic
breathwork brings the body back to physical and emotional balance in
order for the spirit to be fully embodied.

How is Diaphragmatic Breathwork going to change your life?

The external world is a mirror for the internal world. All creation patterns
are breath patterns. When the breath is blocked or compromised, our
ability to manifest is also blocked or compromised.

8
When we take fully belly breaths through our noses, our ability to manifest
anything we want into our hueman experiences is perfect. At this point, we
can attract anything- money, our tribe, health, aligned relationships, etc.-
with ease. Starting every day with a breath session will set the tone for the
entire day. Things will just start to work out for us in every way possible
once we’re aligned with the breath. Committing to the breathwork practice
will be the best decision you’ve ever made in your life!

Breathwork Basics
3 Main Benefits of Full Diaphragm Range of Motion (ROM)

Electricity to the Blood & Enhanced Circulation

When the diaphragm fully expands, the air can get all the way down to the
lower lungs where it can properly connect and exchange with the blood.
The charges the blood with significantly more electricity, which fuels the
separation of charges which fuels the blood flow and physical growth in the
body. Learn more about this in my eBook “Heart Disease is Dehydration.”

Digestive Organ Massage

The diaphragm plays a significant role in the digestion (elimination) of the
food we eat. With each full expansion and contraction of the diaphragm,
the organs are being massaged and the food is being pushed through the
system. Without full diaphragm ROM, food can stagnate and get stuck in
the system.

Mental Clarity
The thoughts are a direct product of the breath. Air is the element of
intellect, air flow controls thought flow. If you want to have complete
thoughts, you need to be taking complete breaths. If you’re taking
fragmented breaths, you will experience fragmented thoughts. If the range
of motion of your diaphragms are compromised from food, then you won’t
be able to access the full connection to yourself. Disconnection with a
partner starts with disconnection from self (breath). The greater the
distance your breaths are from full expansion and contraction, the greater
the distance between you and you.

9
The Locks
You apply the locks whenever you are holding your breath.
Click here for a video explanation
Root Lock: clench the pelvic floor. Squeeze like you’re stopping your pee
mid- stream and clench your butt like you’re holding in a poop.
Upward Flight Lock: this is the stomach vacuum, which we only do at the
bottom of the exhale. With your lungs completely empty, suck in your
diaphragm and expand the muscles of the rib cage so it can go all the way
up and in. You may find it easier to do this bending over at first. You can
bend over as you exhale and then lift yourself upright as if you’re going to
inhale, but without actually inhaling. The pressure will allow you to pull in
the diaphragm.

Throat Lock: Puff your chest out, bring your shoulders all the way back, and
tuck your chin.

Tongue Lock: suction your tongue to the roof of your mouth.

First Eye Lock: Keep your eyes closed for the duration of every breathwork
session. With your eyes closed, look up into the first eye.

Postures and Positions

If you can sit on the floor in full lotus, do that. If you cannot sit in full lotus
comfortably, then sit at the edge of a hard surface, so the edge of the
surface is applying pressure to the perineum, with your feet flat on the
floor. This can be a chair, a bench, a rock, etc. For some sessions you may
also stand up, kneel, or lay down.

Where to Breathe?
When doing a breathwork session ideally you will want to be outside. If
that’s not an option, you can also find a comfortable space indoors and
open the window (if possible). You will want to have no external
distractions, so make sure no one or nothing will be around so, you can
really relax and invoke trance.

Clothing
Ideally when doing breathwork you will want to be as naked as possible.
The whole body breathes!

THE BREATH IS THE KEY

Everyone who teaches breathwork, myself included, focuses on teaching

the actual techniques of the breathwork itself. My job as a breathwork
coach is to give you the key. That said, there cannot ever be an external
teacher that will teach you to fully self-realize. I cannot take that key and
open the lock for you. I can tell you what’s the behind the door, I can give
you a million reasons why you’d want to open the door, but I can’t open the
door for you. More so than me giving you the key, I’m really just showing
you that you already have the key and the door always is (and always has
been) waiting to be opened. The fascinating part about it is that once you
open that first door, there’s infinite other doors inside. Even more
fascinating about it, the same key works for every single door. Some find it
to be too much work to use the key to open the door, some fear what’s
behind the door because it’s uncertain and distract themselves to forget
they have the key, and some are scared to leave behind what they have on
this side of the door. It’s okay not to open the door. But like anything, every
yang will yin and vise versa. Every cause has an effect. When you choose
not to open the door or refuse to realize that you’re holding the key, you’re
choosing to stay in the room you’re already in. That room is the same room
where they sex traffic children, enslave people for fake energy (money) and
drug/food dependence, and create illusory separation from nature. When
you choose to open the door and walk through it with no expectations,
attachments, or identifications, you realize that the original room (the 3D)
was all just a dream and that the universe is so much more in depth than
you ever knew. The 3D is just the tip of the ice berg of dreams, it’s one of
the densest, most boring, surface-level dreams lol. Every door you go
through, you find more and more doors, more and more rooms. You’re
traveling deep into the body, the key is the key to yourself. The body is the
entire universe.

12
When your body isn’t clean, you trap yourself in one room. The key stops
working and the door can’t be opened. The breath is the key, the qi, and
when the breath is blocked the door stays locked. For me, the ankh
represents the symbol for that key. The craniosacral electrical flow that
breathwork let’s you tap into is the “key of life,” the key to the ethereal
playground, the key to unlocking your wholeistic self. Eating or drinking
literally anything, smoking anything, mouth breathing, sitting and sleeping
on unnatural furniture, putting lab chemical products on your skin or in
your hair, bathing in tap water, and avoiding daily breathwork sessions all
make your key stop working. The ultimate act of self-love is FREEING
yourself, freeing yourself from the ILL-use-ion (illusion) of lack/need, from
this dense dream, from the imaginary limitations you’ve been conditioned
to beLIEve so that you can access any door you feel called to access in the
now. When you go through the door, you realize that you are everything,
that everything is everything, ether (hydrogen/dark matter/“melanin”) at
different densities, and that god is you. Freeing yourself is the ultimate act
of self-love because self-love is self-acceptance, which isn’t possible
without self-realization, and freeing yourself allows you to realize yourself.
The only way you can truly love something/someone “else” is by realizing
that it is/they are your reflection, and loving yourself in the first place.
