This is Aleem Khan (Advocate High Court), I am intending to register an NBFC in Pakistan.

That will be the Foreign Owned Subsidiary which will be having 99% shareholding with a parent
company of Indonesia and only 1% of shareholding will be given to independent nominee
Pakistani director. In this regard, I have perused NBFC Rules of 2003 and Regulations of 2008.
But it is silent for the registration of Foreign owned subsidiary NBFC. Therefore, I visited a
concerned sector of SECP which is dealing with NBFC, I was referred to Mr. Imran from his
own staff to inquire the same from him after waiting for several minutes. Mr. Imran misbehaved
with me and denied to provide any information for the process. This was really hard to swallow,
on merely asking a simple query and shows such low ethics of your organization. Kindly provide
me any other thing which is required for the registration of a foreign owned NBFC, as I have
already perused through the procedure laid down in Part VIII- A of the Companies Ordinance,
1984, NBFC & NE Regulations, 2008 and the Non-Banking Finance Companies (Establishment
and Regulation) Rules, 2003.
