Build Instructions.

JS Mayterham 7

• Remove all connecting sprues.


• File to clean up edges and sprue marks, and around tabs and slots.
• Cut out supporting tabs around front & back body arches using hacksaw/dremmel cutter
• If required sand individual parts to remove 3d print lines (easier now before assembly)
• Choice of front arches, spats or full.
o Both can be super glued in position
o Alternately the Spat arches can be held off the bodyshell using 1.2mm diameter
piano wire using the marked holes.
• Dry fit arches to body (locates via the tabs & slots for alignment)
• Super glue arches in position use a flat surface to ensure that the alignment is square on to
the bottom of the body
• Super glue interior/driver in position or leave until after painting the shell.
• Locate roll bar and ease into slots check desired height, mark with pencil then super glue in
• Check fit of guideholder to chassis then super glue in position into the recess.
• Fit posts to chassis with screws, twin posts has tab to the rear, align front post so that the
plate lines up with the guide rails on the underside of the body.
• Using 2 part resin glue (e.g. Araldite) apply glue to the post plates locate into body between
the guides allow to set. (Note push chassis right back to align with arches).
• Paint decal etc etc.
• Chassis set up suggested.
o slot it gears, 9:28
o Slot It 23K Motor or NSR Shark 20-25K (FC130)
o Front Wheels Advant Slot Delrin 14.5mm dia or smaller
o Rear Wheels Slot It 15.8mm x 10.2mm
o Guide NSR Longer low profile (plastic tracks)
o Guide Scaleauto/Slot It/Advant (Wood tracks)
o Rear axle bearings NSR NSR4803
• Secure motor clamp with two screws from topside to hold motor
• Rear axle if using NSR bearings is a tight push fit, the standard Scalex plastic will require
gluing.
