H2S CONTINGENCY PLAN

• If detected by H2S gas meter, inform everybody and raise alarm.

• Evacuate people from the derrick floor, Near mud nullah and over the mud tank.
• Observe the wind direction direction & rush towards the open area preferably to
a higher place and in opposite to wind direction to get fresh air.
• If eye is itching rinse with plain water
• Apply first aid if necessary and consult doctor
• Trained personnel from chemical, use the H2S mask or air purifying
respirators (APRs) and add scavengers (ZnO) in the mud.
• If situation does not improve, stop operation and wait for experts to tackle
the situation.
• The Tool pusher /HSE shall use the T-Card Board to make a headcount of
the personnel at the Assembly Point.
• For any rescue operation, rescue team/trained personnel should don
SCABA available at site.
