Newspaper-by Ádám Temesvári

Newspapers have been with us for centuries and play a major role in our lives.
They’re informative, lightweight and smell marvellous. Newspapers can be
divided into two types. One of them informs us about celebrities and
entertainment. This type is called tabloid. The other type the broadsheet talks
about more serious topics. It talks about world crisis politics and economics.
Although they’re talking about different subjects they share a similar base.
They all have a front page with a snappy headline which catches the eyes.
Every newspaper has an editorial. This is usually written by the publisher of
the newspaper and it shows the reader the paper’s opinions about the
happenings in the world and tells the political view of the newspaper.
Newspapers are good for everyday life but they have a few drawbacks. First of
all paper and water are not so best friends. You may not want your newspaper
to be wet but if you don’t have an umbrella it can help you out. After they’re
printed nothing can be changed on them. Because of that, they can spread
fake news and it can’t be rewrited like the online news. With the advent of the
internet more and more news sites are available. Nowadays telephone is
getting cheaper and more affordable and it’s easier to read the news on our
phone rather than on a big paper. If this tendency keeps happening
newspapers will cease to exist within a few decades.
