31 days prayers for my future husband

Part 1

Preparing your spirit; Everything you need to

know before you start praying for your future
husband.
What is prayer?

Prayer is how believers of God talk to him. It's

how they make their praise and requests known.
The Scriptures are filled with beautiful examples
of people crying out to God and asking for his
strength, guidance, healing and more.

prayer is “talking to God.” Prayer is not

meditation or passive reflection; it is direct
address to God. It is the communication of the
human soul with the Lord who created the soul.

Prayer is the primary way for the believer in

Jesus Christ to communicate his emotions and
desires with God and to fellowship with God.

Prayer is described in the Bible, precisely in

Exodus 32:11, as seeking God’s favor, in 1
Samuel 1:15, as pouring out one’s soul to the
Lord, in 2 Chronicles 32:20, as crying out to
heaven, in Psalm 73:28, KJV, as drawing near to
God, and kneeling before the Father in
Ephesians 3:14.
Why You should Pray for your Future Husband

According to Proverbs 16:9; The heart of man

plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Paul said in philipians chapter 4 verse 6 to 7 that

we should not be anxious about anything, but in
every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, we should present our requests to
God. And the peace of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard our hearts and minds
in Christ Jesus.

So instead of worrying about anything about

your future husband, pray about him and for
him because God wants us to talk with Him
about everything.

Here's why it's so important to pray for your

future spouse. Prayer provides clarity over your
vision for marriage. The same way you have a
vision for your life is the same way you need to
have a pretty clear picture of what you want in a
man.
When we make petitions to God, we let God
know exactly where we stand and what we
would like to see happen.

How often should we pray?

The biblical answer is “pray without ceasing” (1

Thessalonian 5:17).

We should keep a running conversation going

with God all day long.

We should just do it. Prayer develops our

relationship with God and demonstrates our
trust and utter dependence upon Him.

How to Pray

there is really no special formula for how to

pray in the Bible, however as humans we have
different ways we want to be comfortable in
while communicating with God.

Prayer can be audible or silent, private or public,

formal or informal. We can pray under any and
all circumstances; kneeling, walking, running,
under your breathe, in the gym, in the shower,
in the church, anywhere you find yourself and
your spirit leads you to pray.

All prayer must be offered in faith (James 1:6),

in the name of the Lord Jesus (John 16:23), and
in the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26).

As the International Standard Bible Encyclopedia

puts it, “Christian prayer in its full New
Testament meaning is prayer addressed to God
as Father, in the name of Christ as Mediator, and
through the enabling grace of the indwelling
Spirit” (“Prayer” by J. C. Lambert). The wicked
have no desire to pray (Psalm 10:4), but the
children of God have a natural desire to pray
(Luke 11:1).

The key to answered prayer is praying according

to the will of God and in accordance with His
Word.
Part 2

31 days Prayers for future Hubby

Day 1

Heavenly Father,Thank you for the breath of

fresh air.

You have protected me, and I have come to

return all adoration and praise to your name.

Lord, you said in your word, that in everything

we should give thanks. Therefore, I want to
thank you for your preservation, protection, and
provision.

Lord, I know I am a sinner. I have gone astray

from your commands. Today, I seek your mercy
and forgiveness.

Thank you, Father, for your answered prayers.

Amen.
Day 2

Lord,

I am your servant. I want your will to be done in

my life. My heart wants to plan when I will meet
my future husband.

My heart wants to plan that tomorrow I may

meet the man of my dreams. Or at school. Or at
church. But God! How silly of me - I don't even
know what tomorrow may bring.

My life is just a mist - here today and gone

tomorrow. With that truth in mind, I pray and
ask that your will would be done in my life.
Establish my steps.

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it

is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
Day 3

Lord,

I am a schemer and a planner at heart. That is

my nature. That is human nature. I want to plan.
But God, I don't want to hold these plans with a
tight fist. I must let them go.

I must hold them open to you. I ask that

although my heart is trying to plan and wants to
plan - may your purpose stand in my life. I open
my whole life to you. May your purpose stand.

Establish my steps. My heart is yeaning to plan

my future: to fall in love. To marry a godly man.
To have a family.

But oh Father - more than that I want YOU to

establish my steps. I need you to do that In my
life.

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not

lean on your own understanding.
Day 4

Father God,

I come before you today to pray for my

husband to be. Lord, may his walk with You be
abundantly blessed.

Father, I pray relationship with You is his top

priority and may his first love always be You.
Lord, I pray that becoming closer to You is not a
chore or something to check off a list, but a
sincere joy in coming to intimately and
personally know Your heart.

May his heart hunger for more of You and less of

this world, and may he grow as he learns what it
means to be a Christ-follower in every facet of
life.

Lord, I pray he lives in such a way that it is

evident to others he is different, and that the
difference is Your Light within him. May he be a
man after Your heart in every way.
Day 5

Father God,

I come before You to pray for my future

spouse in his dreams and ambitions. Lord, You
are so good in how You distinctly made us to
dream and to have passions to pursue.

Lord, give him the ability to live out and run

after the ambitions You have nurtured in his
heart. May doors open in such a way that He
knows it could only be You orchestrating it all
behind the scenes.

Work through him and help him to feel Your

Holy Spirit within him as he performs the tasks
ahead of him. May he be Your vessel here on
earth as the dreams You planted in his heart
yield fruit for the world to see.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
Day 6

Father God,

I pray for the relationships my husband-to-be

has with his family and friends. Lord, we know
that relationships foster community, and that
they are vitally important to the Body of Christ
as a whole.

I pray his relationships with his parents are

healthy, supportive, and loving. Lord, I know one
day I will join his family and become family to his
parents, so I pray blessing over them today. I
pray they know I already love them, and hope so
dearly to be a daughter to them both.

I pray for my husband’s relationships with his

friends. May godly men surround him,
encourage him, and challenge him. I pray they
help to keep him accountable and inspire him to
pursue a godly lifestyle.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Day 7

Lord God,

I come before You to pray for the mental and

spiritual health of my future partner. Lord,
especially in the time we are living here on earth
things can so easily pull us down, invoke feelings
of hopelessness, and oftentimes depression
becomes a pit we fall into.

I pray that if this is the case for my husband that

You would be the One to extend a hand to him
to pull him out.

I pray Your Spirit pours upon him with feelings of

peace, love, and worth. May he spiritually grow
stronger with You in the process.

I pray the attacks and ploys of the enemy would

be shut down in Jesus Holy Name so that he may
live in the abundant clarify and freedom that can
only be born of Your Spirit.
Day 8

Lord God,

I pray for his integrity, honor, and character.

May he have a moral code established within his
heart that is refined and defined by You.

I pray he would have a teachable heart and

spirit, so if You had a place for growth within him
he would be willing and eager to submit to Your
shaping.

Help him to be a man that if anyone ever spoke

a word against him, no one would believe it for
others would know he is a man of dignity. Thank
You for the man he is becoming.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
Day 9

Father God,

I pray that my future husband would have a

Godly mission and Kingdom mindset. That he
would not merely think of how his actions or
choices would impact his own life, but how he
can be an ambassador of the Kingdom of God
through his own life.

I pray he would seek You in how he can operate

as a Godly man in his workplace, in his
relationships with others, and in our world.

Lord, inspire within him a mission not just for his

life, but for the generations to come. May his
mind, heart, and drive be for the Kingdom of
God, not the Kingdoms of Man.

In Jesus Name, Amen

Day 10

Father God,

I pray that you prepare my man to become a

husband. I know You are working on me as I
prepare to become a wife to this noble man of
honor, but I pray for him as he prepares for me
too.

Help him step into the role You have for him,
but help him to do so confidently. My prayer is
that he would know his worth comes from You
and You alone, and that he would not question
or doubt all You have prepared for him.

I thank You that I will one day be partnered with

him, that I will be his rib and teammate. Help us
become the people we need to be in order to
live out the callings You have for us together.

Thank You for taking intentional time to make us

ready.
Day 11

Dear future husband, before anything else, I ask

from the depth of my heart that the Lord blesses
and increases you on all sides on this day.

May your day be smooth and without trouble

from the enemy. May favour shine on you
wherever you go. And even cause you to never
lack anything good on earth.

May the angels open a path of prosperity and

peace before you. May you have so many
reasons to smile and rejoice throughout this
month and year.

May you be singled out for favour and mercy.

May the good Lord say amen to your heart
desires. I love you.
Day 12

God, I pray that my future husband knows you

and that he has a relationship with you. I pray
that he is a man after your own heart, and that
his love and passion for you continues to grow.

I pray that if he is not saved yet, I pray that you

soften his heart and that he will give his life to
Jesus. I pray that you show him who you are
Lord, and that he experiences your love in a
fresh way.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 13

God, I pray that my future husband is confident

in who he is and in who you created him to be. I
pray that he has the faith and confidence to go
after the things he wants.

And I pray that he has the confidence to pursue

me and ask me out. I come against any doubts or
fears that may be holding him back, and I pray
that he will be himself as he pursues me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 14

God, I pray that you confirm the desires on our

hearts and that we will know that we are
supposed to be together.

I pray that you will speak to both of us and will

confirm that we are supposed to get married. I
pray that he will know with certainty that I am
his future wife.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 15

God, I pray that my future husband is healed

from his past and that he is ready for a healthy
relationship.

I break off any ungodly soul ties from his past in

Jesus’ name, and I declare healing over any
experiences he had in his childhood.

I pray that he has a healthy view of marriage,

and that he is not afraid to commit or pursue
marriage.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 16

God, I pray that my future husband is

surrounded with godly male influences in his life.

I pray that you bring the right friends into his life
that also walk in your ways, and I pray that you
bring a mentor into his life that can support him
and his walk with Christ.

And I ask that you remove any friendships that

are ungodly or that are holding him back from
living the life you have for him.

May the community he has help him to grow,

and Lord if there be a single person stunting that
growth or pulling him down, I pray You would
gently remove that person so that my husband
can live to his full potential through You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 17

Dear Lord,

I pray that my future husband will love You more

than he loves me, and he will please You more
than he will please me.

I pray that my future husband will continually

grow in his personal relationship with You
because his love for me stems from his
relationship with You.

I pray that I will indeed be a helper to you. She

will do you good and give you joy forever in the
name of Jesus!
Day 18

Dear Lord,

I pray that my future husband will receive grace

and strength to stand in the gap and stay in the
place of prayer.

I pray that no matter the time and weather he

will rise and humbly come to his place of prayer,
to partner with You and establish your purpose
here on earth.

I pray that my future husband will make You His

priority. I don't mind being second. I pray that
You will indeed be the authority over his head,
and that You teach him how to love.

in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Day 19

Dear Lord,

I pray for my future husband to be wrecked by

love. May his flesh give way to the Spirit of love
from now that he may walk in divine love — in
the home, at work, on the street, at church and
even with strangers.

I pray that you grant my future husband the

grace to do what you have ordained for him to
do. I pray that is hands will not go slack on the
path You have placed him.

May he walk on the path of Your purpose in the

name of Jesus!
Day 20

Dear Lord,

Help my future husband to choose his friends

wisely. Bring him men who will encourage his
accountability before You, and will not lead him
into sin.

I pray that you will stand out in your place of

work and business. The light of God will shine on
everything you do. You will find favour in the
sight of men and in the sight of God.
Day 21

Dear future husband,

I pray that you will be the best father to children.

You will not only give them stuff, but you will
also give them you — your time, your attention,
your heart. You will be a family man.

Thank You for my future husband. Thank You for

the life that we get to share and do together. I
pray that we always make time to have fun.

I pray we laugh and enjoy our time together. I

pray we make it a priority to have fun, but I also
pray that it happens naturally because we are
having fun.

I pray my husband feels refreshed being around

me and that You would bless him in Jesus’ name,
AMEN!
Day 22

Dear Lord,

May my breast will satisfy my future husband.

May our sexual intimacy together be ever fresh,
positive, and a reflection of selfless love in the

social and spiritual strength. The Lord will make
you a strong man. You are a strong man in the
name of Jesus!
Day 23

I pray that you will be patient and be a man of

peace. You will not give in to anger, but will
allow the Holy Spirit to control your responses.
You will forgive easily and be laced with kindness
and grace like salt.

I pray against everything that will distract from

being with your family. The devil will not distract
you and no strange woman would distract you in
the name of Jesus!
Day 24

and trials how to be a good leader. I pray that

You will succeed. You will make progress. You

will fulfill purpose.

grace to be a light shinning in this dark world.

We have so many land to conqer together, God

will give you the grace to be strong for me. May
the troubles of life or this world not weigh you
down.
Day 26

Dear future husband,

I pray that wherever you are right now, you shall

find peace, joy and laughter. I know because I
am praying for you.

I haven't met you yet but I feel our connection

strongly. And I love you already. You are the best
man any woman could ever wish for. Stay
connected to God, my love.
Day 27

Lord,

I have come to ask that you bless my husband

with perfect health. I rebuke every sickness in his
life.

If he is down with any illness, I ask that you heal

him.

your God,… I will take away sickness from among
you.”

Lord, I pray for sound health for my future

partner. Let him be strong and healthy.

Thank you for your answered prayers. Amen

Day 28

Lord,

You have created me in your image and

likeness.I am beautifully made by your mighty
hands.

Lord, I ask that my husband loves me as you

have created me.Let him find his joy and
happiness in me..

Let me be his beauty and his satisfaction.

Lord, you said in your word, “Husbands, love

your wives, just as Christ loved the church and
gave himself up for her”

Therefore, teach him through the holy spirit to

love me as his wife. Let my qualities be
complementary to his.

Thank you Father for answering prayers.Amen.

Day 29

Heavenly Father, You know the end from the

beginning.

There is nothing on or beneath the earth that

can be hidden from you.

The Scripture says, “Great is our Lord and mighty

in power; his understanding has no limit.”You
alone know the man I would marry.

You alone know the whereabouts of my future

husband.Lord, I ask that you bless him with
wisdom.

Let him be knowledgeable in all things. The

scriptures say, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from
his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

Therefore, I seek your blessing over my future

husband. Open his mind to learn and be
intelligent. Grant him wisdom to understand me.

Let your wisdom shine over his life. Lord, I seek a

husband that understands all my flaws. Today, I
pray for my future husband to understand them
and love me the way I am.
Thank you, Lord, for your answered prayers.
Amen.
Day 30

Lord, I seek your blessing over my future spouse

in all he does. Bless the works of his hands and
enlarge his coast.

Let everything he touches be a blessing. You

have promised to bless the righteous and listen
to their Prayer. Consequently, I ask that you
locate my future husband with financial
prosperity.

The scriptures say, “Beloved, I pray that you may

prosper in all things and be in health, just as your
soul prospers.”

Therefore, I ask for a change in his position. Let

him prosper in his business. Let him have
financial dominion over all his needs.

Help him to succeed in all his endeavors. Thank

you, Father, for your answered prayers. Amen.
Day 31

Lord,

You alone know the challenges of my future

husband. You know his fears and his
temptations.

I ask for protection from every darkness in his

life. Save him from himself and his vices. Take
away bad friends and colleagues from him.

Lord, I ask for protection from spiritual forces.

The Scripture says, “The thief comes only to steal

and kill and destroy; I have come that they may
have life, and have it to the full.”

Therefore, protect my husband from the devil

and his agent. Send your angel to protect him
from evil and wicked forces.

Lord, you said you would protect the righteous.

The Scripture says, “The righteous person is
rescued from trouble, and it falls on the wicked
instead.”

Therefore, I ask for his deliverance in times of

trouble. Protect him in his workplace. Protect
him when he goes out and comes in.
Thank you, Father, for your answered prayers.
Amen.
In conclusion
1 John 2:17 says,

"The world and its desires pass away, but

whoever does the will of God lives forever."

Marriage is of this world. It is a beautiful gift

from God - but will not last into eternity. Christ
and His love is better than life itself and will last
forever.

So, I will turn my heart back to God and ask for

HIS will to be done in my life. I will lay my desires
at His feet and be clear about them - and then
say: "not my will but yours be done."

Make it a daily habit to lift the man you will

marry up in prayer. Your prayers are not said in
vain, nor do they go unanswered.

Be confident that even when you cannot see it,

the Lord is working and weaving and preparing
the man He has for you to become not only the
husband you will need, but the man God
designed him to be in his role in this age.

Even if you feel as if God isn’t listening, I want to

encourage you to keep praying for your future
husband. Maybe you started praying in your
teens and you’re in your 20s, 30s, or 40s now.
Perhaps you’ve started to believe that your
prayers are doing NOTHING. Sometimes it may
seem like that’s true, but it’s not. Your prayers
are working … but in ways you may not see for
years and years to come. Let me encourage you
today!

As you pray for him before you are dating him, it

will only add to the habit of praying for him
when you are dating and one day married as
well.
1. Pray that God gives him a spirit of wisdom and
revelation

relationship with Himself
