Module 2 Reflection Paper

Write three personal maxims for organizational leadership based on the readings and
discussions for this unit.
Your maxims need to be of the style reflected throughout OPOP. The questions the author
asks through the book can be helpful in generating your maxims. Be sure to incorporate
feedback from the first assignment.

Remember:
• Your maxims should be unique to your perspective and in your own words. If you
are copying words of a motivational poster in an office somewhere, you are not trying
hard enough!
• Work hard to make them concise, understandable and actionable. They should be as
original as possible. Here are examples: “Every storm runs out of rain”, “whatever
lets me sleep at night” “Kraigers Never Quit!”
• Each maxim should have a “story” behind it as to what makes it yours. Why is it
important to you? How did you pick it, how will it make a difference, etc.?
Remember, these are about your personal leadership?
• Per the template, be sure to incorporate lessons and discussions from this module to
support the power of the maxim.
• The paper should be 3-4 pages, double-spaced.
