• Make a persuasive appeal.
• Use Rhetorical Question to emphasis the
point.
• Ask for contribution.
• Use attractive & catchy slogan.
• Give reasons to support the cause you
are appealing for.
• If it is a Rally, you need to write time,
date, day & venue etc.
• At the down right hand corner use Logo

1. In the horrible flood situation ,the Kerala state suffered a huge loss. Your
organization has arranged a rally to raise funds to help the flood affected
people in Kerala. Prepare an appeal for the people to contribute to the funds
with the help of following points
• Purpose of the rally
• Time & place of the rally
• Leading personalities
• Request for donation
• Add your own points

2 . Laughter is the best medicine . Therefore Laughter Clubs are becoming

more & more popular Prepare a leaflet for a Laughter Club. You may use the
following points

3. Prepare a leaflet giving information about a Literature Club that your class is
intending to launch & make an appeal to students to join it.

4. Prepare an appeal to be put up on your college noticeboard , for raising the

1. Imagine that you are an ardent bird watcher. You have noticed that the number
of birds have diminished over the years. Write a speech on Why should we save
birds.

2. As the newly elected student of the year, You are invited to address the class of
11th students of your college ,the subject given to you is ‘The importance of
Reading. Draft your speech highlighting the values of books & reading.

3. Imagine you are the captain of your college football team. Your teammates are
nervous about the next match, afraid that they will lose . Draft a speech boosting
