STUDENT’S ENGAGE
1. What do you know about storing big data? How did you figure that out?
According to our study, what I've discovered and learned about big data storage is that it is
a storage architecture specifically engineered to manage, store, and retrieve very large
datasets or 'big data.' big data storage systems can allow for sorting and storing large data so
that it can be accessed very easily. It can also be processed and used by services and
applications. Big data storage is built to be both highly flexible and easily scalable. Also, big
data storage allows for the accumulation and regulation of large data sets, while also allowing
for real-time data analytics. Big data storage usually relates to volumes that grow
exponentially to terabyte or petabyte scales. For this reason, a particular volume size or
capacity is not formally established. The data itself in big data is unregulated, which means
it’s mostly fine and object-based storage. Through the help of our teacher's explanation, my
knowledge and understanding have improved, increased, and clarified what big data storage
is.

2. Based on what you’ve learned so far, if data can be collected, extracted, and integrated
together. Where can these records be kept? How do you plan to do that?

Regarding what I have learned thus far, it appears that data can be gathered, extracted, and
aggregated. Data integration, which is the process of merging data from various sources into one
unified view for effective data management, meaningful insights, and actionable intelligence,
can be used to maintain these records. Data integration solutions attempt to integrate data
regardless of its kind, structure, or volume given the exponential growth in data volume, variety
of formats, and distribution. Incorporating data intake, processing, transformation, and storage
for convenient retrieval, is a crucial component of a data pipeline. The integration of various
data sources into a primary relational database is made possible by building a data warehouse.
By doing this, you'll be able to execute queries on aggregated data sources, create reports using
data from all aggregated data sources, and gather and analyze data from all aggregated data
sources in a way that's consistent and usable.

Assessing micro and macro processes, client/customer behavior/preferences, managing

operations, and making strategic decisions based on this business intelligence are all made
much easier when all of an organization's key data is gathered, kept, and readily accessible. In
this situation, data integration facilitates the process of generating business intelligence

organization. The managed service provider would perform a procedure known as ETL to do
this.

3. Have you ever thought about why these records should be kept? Does it help with
references to be the past and the future?

In my opinion, the reason these records should be retained is that every piece of information
we collect or get has a different significance for us, both now and in the future. And for me, it
helps with references. As just one illustration, a business must begin taking measures to
safeguard and cultivate data now to stay ahead of the curve and maintain a healthy database
as it expands and develops to meet future needs. And I believe that with the help of tools that
make it easier to organize data it is more secure and safe not just today but in the future.

4. Do you think it’s safe and secure to store these data? If so, then how? If not, why not?

According to what I have learned and learned, I think the stored data is safe and secure.
Because any documentation of even minor importance should always be stored safely
through, digital storage or physical storage E.g. a filing cabinet because it may be needed in
the future for other projects, thus increasing its importance. Further, if it is confidential, the
records must be kept secure so as not to breach the Data Protection Act (DPA). Files or data
are important to back up to ensure the safety of said documentation or data.
