Racial discrimination

1. In modern times what are the manifestation of racial discrimination?

 As of today, we still experiencing discrimination towards LGBTQ society. The society still
can’t accept LGBTQ due to their gender identity. This happens in workplace, religious group,
public area like CR where they seem not belong due to their gender Identity

2. What do you think are the effects of racial discrimination on those experiencing it?
 It can be a long-term emotional scar to the person who experienced it. The negative effect
will lead to mental health. When they feel that they are not belong to the society it will lead
to depression and mental breakdown. It can be a trigger to a person a hatred to other and
to herself which can lead to injury or death.

3. What is your opinion about history of human rights? Explain your opinion on each of the
historical events that happened
 EDSA People Power were people unit to achieve the freedom. When they achieved this
freedom people enjoys their rights.

4. In general, why should you as a person and a future police officer learn how to respect
differences?
 We should acknowledge and accept individual differences. We can achieve a better working
world when we respect individual differences. We should not discriminate an individual who
have a different color or culture. No discrimination means no hatred will build; we should
unite as one. As a police officer I should be ethical to my work. I should protect everyone no
matter what race, color, nationality, or ethic they are.
