I recently completed my degree in biotechnology (Hons) from Manipal International
University (Malaysia) with a 3.45 CGPA and a solid educational foundation in cell biology,
genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, genetic engineering, immunology, bioinformatics,
biostatistics, animal biotechnology, plant biotechnology, food biotechnology, pharmaceutical
biotechnology, fermentation technology and IPR. In addition to my theoretical knowledge, I
am proficient in the use of lab equipment, the creation of culture media, the culture of plant
and animal tissues, plating procedures, and gene cloning (PCR, restriction digestion, ligation,
DNA isolation and DNA purification). My experience at my university also taught me to
manage projects by planning the details and timelines, keeping in-depth documents of the
projects and by ensuring all projects meet the necessary requirements.

I completed a Higher National Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science from PATHE academy (Sri
Lanka) prior to beginning my undergraduate program, and I also have two years of work
experience as an apprentice pharmacist. I have extensive expertise in the fields of
pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, quality control, and quality assurance.
Additionally, my professional experience has given me skills in customer service, sales, stock
management, and the safe dispensing of medications.

I have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a research
team. I can operate effi ciently in a busy environment while guaranteeing punctuality,
attentiveness, producing good levels of work, and quickly adapting to changing
circumstances. I have excellent communication skills, and I can work well with other
specialists and work on multiple projects effi ciently. I value work ethic and have experience
working in a multicultural environment. I am actively seeking employment, and I would be
happy to start with a job that fit my skills and long-term goals.
