Cats or also known as Felis Catus is an animal that is kept as a house pet. There are different breeds
of feline but the most common breed of cat in the world is Domestic short-hair. Having a feline friend will
bring smiles in your face as they are very affectionate, it will make you relax. Cats are one of the best
companions, they can give a huge benefit on human’s life as they contribute happiness, reduce the feeling
of loneliness, relieves depression, anxiety, stress and even improve your health condition. I usually own 3
cats at home and honestly, I can confirm that it gives a huge impact into my life and where in fact, it is also
one of my stress relievers. The cats I have at home helped me to lighten up my mood through act of petting,
hugging and playing with them.
Recent study shows that owning a cat can bring unconditional love and friendship to your life.

are 3 good benefits of cats into humans. And their first study shows that petting a cat may lower your stress
levels, anxiety and improve your heart health. Being surrounded by a cat triggers the release of calming
chemicals in your body that lowers your stress and lower the risk of heart diseases, like stroke, by around
30 percent. Second theory is a cat’s purr is proven to heal the bones, tendons and muscles. The purr sound
has also been long associated with a therapeutic healing to human bones and muscle. The frequency ranges
from 20-140 HZ, and studies have shown that frequencies in the 18-35 HZ range have a beneficial effect on
joint mobility after injury, scientists begun talking and studying about how the cat noise or purr helped
humans in curing such injuries. And the last one is cats may make you happier. Pet owners stated that
playing with cat brought happiness to them and also whenever they see an image of a cat somewhere will
make them happy as well. Once they see a feline, the brain interprets happiness.
In my own perspective, having a cat is a blessing, they act as a therapist or a medicine where they
can heal every discomfort of a person, because I myself has also witnessed their healing capacity. I highly
recommend those individuals who are currently experiencing frequent pressure to consider adapting cats as
an alternative medicine to cure their troubles. They are capable to mend the broken and empty feelings of a
human. The benefits that can be obtain for owning cats is immeasurable and its free so, if you are looking
for a stress reliever then once again, I suggest you to own a furry feline friend.

I’ve got so many memories with my comrades from my previous grade school and it all happened
in 30th may. We went into the school in the morning but it turns out that we have no classes so, all of us and
our teacher decided to go on a walk in the mountains. Our school is located in high land area, surrounded
with tall and greeny trees, remarkable sceneries like mountains. Today’s spot is secret falls, it was a perfect
day since the sky was all clear.
As we set foot into a field full of green grass, we heard noises from the birds singing as if like they
welcomed us, saw colorful butterflies lingering the air, smelled the scent of perfumed like flowers that we
came across with, the bluish sky covered by the giant trees, that shed us from the sunlight, leaves falling out
from tree branches as a strong gust of wind hits the canopy. After a long walk, we finally reached the
destination. A large waterfall unfolded our sights and there, we heard the satisfying sound from the water
falling from the top. Happiness was all drawn on our faces it feels like a reward for our efforts. We then
touched the cold crystal water. Our teacher began to prepare the snacks we have bought, my friends
wandered around to look for banana leaves to use as an alternative plate, we then for sat on a field of grass.
Stayed there for the whole morning, we had a great conversation between our teacher.
On our way home, we noticed the sky that once clear and calm became dark, clouds began to
rumble, wind currents began to rage in our ways, met a loud sound of thunder, a dazzling flash of lightning
and rain starts to pour harshly. It was unfortunate that majority of my friends didn’t have an umbrella so we
counted from 10-1 and decided to run in the midst of heavy rain. The cold breeze and tiny little raindrops
touched our skins as we run into the foggy road, wet hairs, equipment, the earthy like scent blends into the
air. A fuzzy vision unfolded our sights while running.
We all laughed like 7-year-old kids, a large smile was shown on our faces depicting the
immeasurable amount of happiness that we are experiencing. We run as if like we had a race with each
other. We arrived at home chasing our breaths, tired, getting cold but a grin was glued in our faces.

People will sometimes acknowledge procrastinators as lazy persons since they don’t have time on
achieving specific task ahead on time however, there is actually a reason why people perform it
consistently. According to Dr. Itamar Shatz, Procrastination is a common problem that affects around 20%
of adults and 50% of college students, and which can lead to issues like worse performance, missed
opportunities, missed improvements and stress. Multiple reasons why people procrastinate is it’s either due
to their low self-esteem, perfectionism, feeling overwhelmed, low or lack of motivation, problematic
environment, anxiety and fear, Task aversiveness, Low capacity for self-control due to exhaustion, personal
problems and disconnection from the future self. People tend to procrastinate because their drive to act on
time is over powered by the drive to delay and this happens when their inner self is consumed by known
issues that leads to lack of motivation on achieving the task. Procrastinators that frequently experiencing
emotional issues are more prone to stress and anxiety.
In conclusion, it is okay to take a rest in the middle of problems and exhaustion because we also
need to assess our health and mental issues however, we also need to be productive at some point on your
duties or tasks to avoid larger complications. Set aside those too much negative thoughts and learn how to
have self-control. Learn basic steps to keep away from procrastination, refine your goals or objectives by
figuring out what work techniques for you to implement them most effectively. Procrastination can be
avoided by overcoming your challenges, solving your miseries, setting a precise and specific goal,
implementing a plan, have time management, eliminating distractions and of course by setting your mind
positively.

“A good friend” An Explanatory Essay

A best friend is defined as someone who gives assistance, the one’s you trust, a supporter, who’s in
there through hardships, the only person you shared countless memories, who will cheer you up and the
person you value above other friends in life. Having a close friend is more like having a sibling, a bond that
is hard to break you sometimes consider them as a part of the family. One of the qualities to be considered
as a good best friend is someone that is reliable, trustworthy, honest, kind, loyal, dependent and a good
listener.
I have a girl best friend named Illysa, we’ve been friends since 4 th grade in elementary and
honestly, we have done so many crazy things that is carved in our memory. Among of my friends and best
friend, she holds a dear place in my heart because she always lends her hand in terms of problems,
motivates me and I became the best version of my self due to her encouragements. I am an introvert myself
and I often missed something big opportunities because of that. Just like what happened before, when I was
invited to join a competition and because I wasn’t confident enough, I turned it down. She kept on pushing
me to accept the invitation then eventually, I decided to change my answer and there, I was satisfied with
the result and I am thankful because she continued to believe and support me despite having negative
thoughts. My friend is truly a perfect image of a true friend or a best friend.
A good friend plays a massive role in self-improvement. According to Sandhya Pruthi. M,D a

prevent isolation and loneliness and give you a chance to offer needed companionship, too. Friends can also
Increase your sense of belonging and purpose, boost your happiness, reduce your stress, improves your self-
confidence and self-worth.
In conclusion, I am forever glad for having her as my best friend since she always encouraged,
helped me to overcome shyness. There were multiple times that she saved me from the darkness and
because of her, I am now slowly transforming from introvert into an extroverted person and having a good
friend will make your life more vivid and clear.
