The E-INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS writer named Nigel Hogan created an article

entitled “Globalization and wealth creation in Developing Countries” on June 09, 2012. The
purpose of the writer is to show or to express the methods on how does the Process of
globalization helps wealth creation in developing countries. It also discussed about how this
issue makes the hot topic of discussion within the society. The author seek to present the
content of the resolution adopted the specialization of neo- liberal economic globalization
from 1980’s.

The article focuses on the 3 sections which the writer presented. First a preamble to neo-
liberal economic globalization will be given: second an explanation of neo-liberal and its core
values and beliefs. Third arguments that assert that neo-liberal globalization has created
wealth within developing countries.

The article concentrate upon “the opening up of economies to flow of goods , services,
capital and business from other nations that integrate their markets with those abroad. The
globe was divided into three “worlds” during the period of the third wave of economic
globalization (Lechner, 2009). The first is, those in the west that favoured a liberal capitalist
economy, the second consisting of those in the East that favoured a socialist economy and the
third, the least developed countries mainly in the global south known as the non-aligned
movement. During the cold war and the subsequent financial crisis’, such as oil price rises of
the 1970’s and may been also experiences now in the present year 2022 in the Philippines.
Which fed to developed countries raising interact rates, many developing countries were able
to repay debts accrued.

This seeks to present the significance of it by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the
world bank , the west implemented Structural Adjustment Programs (SAPs). The article
discussed the implementation by United States President R. Reagan and British Prime
Minister M Thatcher in early 1950’s made possible for the neo political and economic way of
thinking for the increasing globalization with the developing countries.

Overall , I found the article quite interesting. The article gave a substantial amount of data,
and included some helpful information in highlight. However, it was obvious that the articles
was written to express the main point in having a best describing and very informative.
