FRANS KAISIEPO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Frans Kaisiepo International Airport is an international airport located in Biak, Biak


Numfor District, Papua. This is a flight center during the Dutch colonial period in Indonesia and
during the release of West Irian.
The runway used is still used today is the Dutch relics built during World War II. At present, this
airport is managed by PT Angkasa Pura 1. This airport ranks fourth as the airport with the
longest runway in Indonesia after Hang Nadim International Airport in Batam, Kualanamu
International Airport in Medan, and Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Tangerang.

If you call Frans Kaisiepo himself is the National Hero of Birth of Wardo, West Biak. He was
