Macroeconomic Environment

The economic and non-economic factors that present possibilities and risks to businesses
make up the macro environment. Since this is commonly unpredictable, business adapt their
operations to consider environmental variables such as spending, price level based on
economy against markets and small industries.

The macroeconomic consists in Amazon as following:

i. Demographic
Demographic pressures affect populations of people who spend money and
support the economy. Salary, size, gender and age are just few of demographic
statistics that need to be examines. Studying demographic changes brought on
by population expansion is crucial for every organisation. To best serve its
customers and make a profit, a business must know who exactly is using its
services. (Team, 2022)
Gen X and Y are now the target markets for product sales for businesses. These
generations are technologically advanced and are more likely to make purchases
online. Amazon is able to make sure of its core strengths in order to corner the
worldwide market because of the network distribution services and the strength of
e-commerce.
ii. Technological
Technological aspects considerations include the development of new
technologies, how they influence others by the design of products, the creation of
new products and the availability of brand-new market prospects. Wireless
technology is the ideal illustration of a powerful technical force in modern society.
Additionally, mobile technology is the main impact of creation new technological
innovations and displacing outdated ones. As for a business to function at its
peak and be aware of how technological applications might serve better for
clients especially when it is needed to improve company service quality. (Team,
2022)
Internet is a great resource for information since it offers the most up to date
information that reflects changes in consumer behaviours and preferences. For
instance, Amazon has online banking as their main online payment methods and
PayPal makes purchasing transactions more convenient which improves
customers online shopping experiences. Another example, recently amazon
introduced Kindle app for smartphones, enabling customers to easily access the
online marketplace that contained product reviews before making decision to
purchase.
