First Day Safety Induction


General Site Safety Rules (Shall be translated in local language)

1. Induction: Safety induction is must for one and all at the site – Meaning
2. Appropriate use of PPE is mandatory. (Inspect & explain the usage)
3. Every accident and Near miss event must be immediately reported to Site Supervisor and GE
Personnel. (Explain Near Miss Accident)
4. All workmen should Carry there “Safety Pass” (Shall be issued after induction) at all time and shall
disclose, when asked
5. No Workmen will Work at Height activity OR Electrical shut down / LOTO activity unless he is
authorized and carries valid Safety Pass.
6. Vehicle Drivers must wear a safety helmet at all times when at risk. Vehicles are not to be reversed
in construction areas unless under the control of an authorized banksman. (Inform Risk
associated with it )
7. Safety signs and notices must be followed. (Explain the signage’s & Entrance Chart)
8. All Site personnel, for their own safety and for the safety of others, are required to fully comply
with the agreed safety systems / procedure and working method.
9. Fire and emergency procedures are designed to protect life. They must be followed. (Show
procedure escape route, assembly area in Entrance chart)
10. Ensure “NO Spillage” of Lubricants , Diesel or Hydrocarbon wastes ( Explain Environment Risk ) I
will not attend Work area , empty stomach
11. Smoking is prohibited inside the Work area.
12. Transistor radios or personal stereos / walkman must not be used while working
13. The consumption of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
14. No personnel shall indulge in fighting, horseplay or practical jokes.
