I.) simple:

● She will marry my cousin next Sunday
● We will drive the car to Kayes this week .

NB: The simple future refers to future actions and it expresses facts or certainty.

Form: Subject + will /shall + verb

FUNCTIONS OF THE SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE:


The simple future is used
. To predict a future event.
Examples: It will rain tomorrow.
. To express a spontaneous decision:
Examples: I'll pay for the tickets by credit card.
. To express willingness : volonté
Examples: He'll (he will carry your bag for you.
I’ll do the washing-up.
4. To express unwillingness: quelque chose que tu ne souhaite pas .
Examples: The baby won't (will not eat his soup.
I won't (will not) leave until I’ve (have) seen the manager.
