WEDDING CEREMONY

Scene 1
As the situation unfolds in the church, the wedding planner becomes
concerned because while they are still waiting for the groom, guests are
beginning to arrive.
Organizer: Ma'am, I am afraid to tell you that the groom has not yet
arrived.
Bride: Ugh... I-I think he will...come in a few... Let's just wait for a while,
alright?
Another Scene
Guest 1: Isn’t it unusual?
Guest 2: I agree. What’s the holdup? The wedding should have begun by
now, right?
After a while, the groom and his friend eventually showed up.
Groom’s friend: I apologize sincerely for the delay. There was... a problem
we had to address, but don't worry, we already had it solved.
Organizer: Great! Finally, we can begin.
The bride began to walk to the aisle.
Scene 2
Celebration of Matrimony
Preast: Dearly beloved, you have gathered inside the house of the church
so that the Lord may strengthen your intention to enter into marriage with
a sacred seal in the presence of the minister of the church and the
community.
Priest: And have you come here to enter into marriage without coercion,
freely and wholeheartedly?”
Couple: I have.
Priest: Are you prepared, as you follow the path of marriage, to love and
honor each other for as long as you both shall live?
Couple: I am.
Exchange of Consent
Priest: Since it is your intention to enter the covenant of Holy Matrimony,
join your right hands, and declare your consent before God and his
Church.
Priest: Trisha, would you take, Derick, to be your husband. To promise to
be faithful to him, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to
love him and to honor him all the days of your life.”
Bride: I, do.
Priest: Derick, would you, take Trisha to be your wife. To promise to be
faithful to you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love
her and to honor her all the days of your life.
groom: I--
Mistress: STOP THE WEDDING!
Scene 3
Priest: Should we proceed with the ceremony now that that is over?
Again, Derick, would you take Trisha, to be your wife. To promise to be
faithful to you, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love
her and to honor her all the days of your life.
The groom couldn't say anything as if he was in deep thought.
